Elecon is setting up a project for manufacturing of wind mill gear box for wind mills in the range of 1 MW to 2 MW. These gearboxes are a viable alternative to the import market and Elecon is the first company in India to manufacture these large gearboxes.

Presently about, 45,000 MW of power is expected to come from Wind energy over the next five years.  Our project plans are well in tune with market dynamics to deliver exponential growth. With our diversification into Wind Mill Farms and Wind Mill Gearboxes, Elecon is poised to deliver even stronger returns to our shareholders.
