In November 1994, Elecon Gear Quality Management System achieved
international recognition when it was conferred the ISO 9001. The Elecon
Gear Division is acknowledged as the most modern in the industry
- more than 85% of machinery and testing equipment is computer controlled,
ensuring a high degree of precision in the manufacture and testing
of gear components.
TUV-CERT, Germany, under certification number 041004756,
has certified that Elecon Gear Division Quality Management system
conforms to the internationally accepted ISO-9001 Standards.
The certificate covers Quality Assurance in Design,
Development, Production, Installation and Service of Mechanical
Trasmission Equipments, Helical, Worm and Special Gear Boxes, Fluid
and Geared coupling and Accessories.
The ISO-9001 certification gives six

At Elecon Gear Division, right from beginning, our

but establishing quality system consistancy at grass root level.
Our objective was demonstrated first, while qualifying at pre-auditing
in November 1994 and observing No Non-conformance in three consecutive
six monthly surveillance audits carried out by certificate agency
TUV-CERT. A rare
and remarkable achievement, through Team work ! "It is people
