 “ELECON”
has developed a custom built Quadruple stage, Helical reduction gear
box having Vertical input as well as output shaft placed at 1.35 meters
for the Precipitator application as an import substitute for M/s National
Alluminium Company Limited - Damanjodi (Orissa).
Teeth of pinion, wheel are made from high tensile carbursing
alloy steel, 17CrNiMo6 as per DIN 17210 - Case hardened to 60 +/-2 HRC
and precisely ground to class of accuracy 6 as per DIN 3961 - 63. Housing
of Cast iron Grade Fg 260 as per IS 210.
The shafts are supported on Anti-friction Special Roller
Bearings of adequate size to take care of radial and axial loads degree
of freedom against misalignment.
The gear box is equipped with shaft driven Pump for
providing necessary amount for oil, to various gear meshes and bearings
thereby resulting into smooth and trouble free operation.
