Elecon is supplying complete Wind Mill solution under collaboration
with M/s Wind Master of Belgium, for which this 300 kw gearbox is developed.
This gear box is different from other wind mill gear boxes as the structure
of the same not only support the power generator and disc brake but
also the wind turbine blades through hexagonal flanged low speed shaft.
The gear case and the adopter are specially developed for this purpose
out of material FG 320. The internals of the gear box are carburized,
hardened and ground and specially profile corrected for speed increasing
gear application. The toothing and bearing are splash lubricated. Gear
box is supported on Nacelle through sturdy brackets and working at height
of 40 meters.
The Hydraulic cylinder shaft manoeuvring the blade
angle is also accommodated in the gear box casing.
