Worm extruder gear unit consist of worm gear unit where on the hollow shaft thrust bearing is mounted on a seperate housing which has a capacity of absorbing heavy thrust induced during the process of plastic extrusion. The hollow shaft is with a provision of internal splines for ease of process.

These type of worm extruder gear units are an economical drive assembly for low power plastic extruder.
