This gear unit is mainly used in conveyor track drive in automation assembly and painting plant particularly in automobile industries.

The gear unit consists of first worm pair and second stage helical pair special with vertical output shaft downward is supported by plumber block bearing which is mounted on conveyor drive frame. A sprocket delivers motion to the conveyor chain directly from the output side of the gear box through a sprocket whose teeth mesh with the links of the conveyor chain. The drives are fixed or a floating frame and generally installed along any horizontal straight run of conveyor track.
